Virtual-reality technologies in the process of handicapped persons education

The article describes virtual reality in the context of the education process of handycapped people. The results and outcomes obtained in the framework of the research and other projects in the LIRKIS laboratory working at the DCI FEEI TU Košice are the main basis of this article. One part is reflection on the possible impacts of the described technologies on education of disabled people. The second part is a description of some virtual reality technologies.
