Virtual environments and their possible impact to treat visual impairment

The article focuses on the use of virtual environments for the rehabilitation of visual disorders. The introduction describes the essence of deploying virtual environments using image stereoscopy and virtual cave technology. From a user and system interaction , it describes the current state for monitor users view in the virtual cave environment. By classifying visual impairment it provides solutions for its rehabilitation and improving the sensitivity of the patient’s vision. In conclusion, it evaluates the application of the system for advanced rehabilitation activities and trainings.
